We had a beautiful sunrise wedding on the beach then had brunch with our family and friends. The staff took great care of us the whole week we were there. Thanks to all of you especially Toby & Ryan for making our day so special.

This is a Brown Pelican. They are or were untill very recently considered Critically Endangered. Of course, you would never know they were considered endangered if you go down to FishBones Pier they are EVERYWHERE!!

December 26, 2007. The FishBones dock area.
The brown pelicans are my favorite bird to see when I come to South Padre. They dance with the waves as they pass by us on the beach. They have a dignified presence to them now matter where they sit. The pelican in my picture was waiting at the fish cleaning shack for scraps of fish to be thrown down.

03/08/07, Looking toward Fish Bones Pier
This was taken while we were camping at the SPI KOA. I looked out the front of our motor home and there was the sun going down. I took a picture, then zoomed in to capture this image of the sun going down behind Fishbones Pier and in the foreground are the Osprey Fishing Tour Boats.
